FAQ
What is Rabbit?
Rabbit® is a network of small kiosks that rent power bricks, or as we call them, Carrots. We are located at bars, restaurants, hotels, venues, and pretty much everywhere people wait or hangout.
How do I download the app?
We are live in both the Apple App Store, and Google Play Store. Search for “Rabbit – Stay Charged” to download the app.
How much does it cost to rent a Carrot from a Rabbit?
Rabbit rentals start at just 99¢ an hour. At any time, you may purchase the Carrot® for $39.99 from the app.
How do I rent a Rabbit?
- Download the Rabbit App.
- Open the app, sign up, and scan the QR code on the Rabbit Kiosk.
- Select how many Carrots you want to rent, click confirm, and within a few seconds, your Carrot will pop out of the kiosk.
Do I need my phone to return a Carrot?
No, simply insert the Carrot into an empty slot, and within a few seconds it will mark as a completed rental on your account.
What if my phone is dead and I want to rent a Carrot?
At some locations, there is a cord on the side of the Rabbit that lets you charge your phone enough to download the app and rent a carrot. If that is not available, ask a friend to spend 30 seconds.
Why do I have to load a balance to rent a Carrot?
We hate that too! The problem is, credit card processing fees charge us 30 cents plus 2.9%. So on a 99¢ rental, after sales tax, we wouldn’t make any money. As we grow, we will be able to better negotiate a deal with our credit processing company and a balance won’t be required.
Can I rent multiple Carrots at once?
Yes, as many as are in the machine!
Do you offer refunds?
If there is an issue, please contact live chat via the support tab on the app. We will do our best to take care of it and serve you well.
I bought a Carrot, but I don't have a Micro-USB charger to charge it at home.
You can purchase one for $2.79 through Amazon via this link.
What happens if I don't return it?
Each Carrot has a daily maximum rate of $4.99. At any given time, you can purchase the Carrot for $39.99 via the app or you can return it to a kiosk near you.
After 8 days, we will mark your Carrot as automatically purchased if it’s not return to a kiosk.
I rented a Carrot, and I have nowhere to return it!
Please contact support within the app, and we will see what we can do for you.
I spilled my White Claw on my Carrot, and now it's not working.
We appreciate you being a decent human and telling us! Contact live support via the app, and we will work through the best option.
I tried to return my Carrot, and it won't register as returned.
In the off chance this happens, contact support via the app, and we will fix the issue.
How do I find the nearest Rabbit Kiosk?
Click the map on the Rabbit app, and it will show you the kiosks around you, including how many Carrots are charging, how many slots are available to return a Carrot, and how many Carrots are available to rent.
What do I do if the Kiosk has no empty slots for me to return the Carrot?
Open the Rabbit app and click the pins nearby you to see if there are any slots available at other kiosk.
I scanned the QR code and nothing is happening. Help!
Sorry to hear that! Contact support via the app, and we will be able get it fixed momentarily.
Who do I contact for press enquiries?
For all press inquiries, please email [email protected]
Do you track the batteries?
No. All we keep track of is how long you’ve had each battery via the app. Until it’s returned to one of our machines, it’s not trackable. #WeAreNotGoogle
Can I return a Carrot without my phone?
Yes, just return it to the Rabbit Kiosk. Then the Rabbit Kiosk will read that it’s returned and will stop the timer that is counting down how long you’ve had it.
